Join us June 12-17, 2021 on this exceptional, 6-day, 5-night, all-inclusive photo tour and photograph four of the Seven Wonders of Oregon including the towering Smith Rock, vibrant Painted Hills, dazzling Columbia River Gorge, and iconic Mt. Hood, as well as six spectacular waterfalls, shimmering lakes, rivers, and streams.  

Locations include: Columbia River Gorge, Starvation Creek, White River Falls, Smith Rock, Poxy Falls, Sahalie and Koosah Falls, Painted Hills, Tamawanas Falls, and Trillium Lake.

Day 1 - Arrive in Portland / Starvation Creek / White River Falls / Hood River
We set out by private transfer from Portland, Oregon to the world-famous Columbia River Gorge - the first of the Seven Wonders of Oregon we explore - and photograph the colorful and little known, Starvation Creek.  Afterwards, we'll head to our fantastic hotel overlooking the magnificent Columbia River Gorge in Hood River and have an excellent dinner before heading to spectacular White River Falls.  White River Falls is an outstanding double-tiered waterfall that drops into a rugged basalt gorge near an abandoned hydroelectric power station that once energized and irrigated the region.  We'll shoot the falls and capture the incredible sunset, then return to our hotel.

Note: We pick up guests and travel to the Columbia River Gorge the day of arrival, so please schedule flight arrivals between 11A-12P.

Day 2 - Smith Rock / Bend
After breakfast and editing images we will have a delicious lunch before departing by private transfer to Bend where we'll check into our next fantastic hotel After enjoying a wonderful dinner, we will travel to sensational Smith Rock, the second of the Seven Wonders of Oregon that we photograph on this tour.  Smith Rock is a gigantic 600-foot tall basalt rock formation that's caressed by the Crooked River slowly rolling by its base.  We will photograph Smith Rock then travel back to our hotel in Bend.

Day 3 -  Proxy Falls / Bend
After breakfast and editing images, we travel by private transfer to sensational Proxy Falls, which drops 226 feet in two separate streams over a wall of columnar basalt that's covered with verdant mosses.  After shooting this otherworldly fantasyland all afternoon, we will return to our hotel and enjoy another fantastic dinner.

Day 4 - Sahalie and Koosah Falls / Painted Hills / Prineville
After breakfast we travel by private transfer to gorgeous Sahalie and Koosah Falls.  We'll photograph the 64-foot and 73-foot waterfalls and beautiful McKenzie River, too.  After shooting, we will travel to Prineville for a late lunch / early dinner, check into our next hotel, then travel to the incredibly vibrant Painted Hills in the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument.  The Painted Hills are made up of multi-colored stratifications in the soil and this incredible landscape is the third of the Seven Wonders of Oregon we explore on this tour.  We'll photograph throughout sunset and then return to our hotel.

Day 5 - Tamawanas Falls / Trillium Lake / Hood River
After breakfast and editing images, we head northwest to the Mt. Hood Wilderness area to photograph fantastic Tamawanas Falls.  The gorgeous, 40-foot wide waterfall plunges 110 feet over a basalt cliff and we'll spend the afternoon hiking and photographing this beautiful location.  Afterwards, we'll have a late lunch / early dinner, then drive to Trillium Lake and capture the sunset with spectacular Mt. Hood reflecting in the glossy lake.  Mt. Hood is the fourth and final of the Seven Wonders of Oregon that we photograph, and this magnificent landscape will leave a lasting impression.  After shooting, we'll drive to our final hotel in Hood River.

Day 6 - Depart Portland International Airport
After breakfast and editing images, we'll travel by private transfer to Portland International Airport, and you'll catch your flight home.

$3,975.00 Per Person.  Based on Double Occupancy.

Single Supplement - Add $1,200.00  
The single supplement applies to tour participants that prefer their own hotel rooms rather than sharing rooms with another guest and/or if a shared room is not available. 

What's Included In Photo Tour Price?
Photo tour price includes all hotels, all meals, private transportation, and all park entrance fees.  Photo tour cost does NOT include: airfare to and from Portland, Oregon (airport code PDX), travel insurance, tips to bartenders, bellhops, cleaning staff, drivers, and tour guides, and personal expenses like alcoholic beverages, laundry service, and souvenirs.

Cancellations & Refunds  
Deposits are normally non-refundable, but due to COVID, are now 100% refundable if you cancel before the Registration & Final Payment Deadline.  For refunds, we require that a cancellation request in writing be received before 11:59pm Pacific Time on the Registration & Final Payment date.  If we receive your written cancellation request before the Registration & Final Payment deadline and can refill your space, we will refund all payments, minus any discounts given to refill your space.  If we cannot refill your space, we will refund 50% of all payments.  No refunds are given, nor cancellations allowed after the Registration & Final Payment Deadline date. Physical Requirements
While most locations have easy hikes, one hike requires walking unassisted for 3.5 miles (round trip) over uneven, potentially muddy and slippery trails, and up-and-down inclines with moderate altitude gain. There are hikes over a variety of terrain including pavement, gravel, and dirt trails with large roots, rocks, logs, and stairs.  Travelers should be aware that heat and humidity could be high in some locations and daily excursions can be more difficult during inclement weather.
