Day 1 - Arrive in Portland / White River Falls
We set out by private transfer from Portland, Oregon and check into our first excellent hotel in The Dalles.  Once we're settled in, we will have an early dinner before heading to the spectacular White River Falls.  White River Falls is an outstanding double-tiered waterfall that drops into a rugged basalt gorge near an abandoned hydroelectric power station that once energized and irrigated the region.  We'll shoot the falls, the ruins of the old power station, and capture the incredible sunset, then return to our hotel.

Note: We pick up guests and travel to White River Falls the day of arrival, so please schedule flight arrivals between 1P-2P.

Day 2 - Smith Rock
After breakfast, editing images and Lightroom instruction, we will have a delicious lunch in The Dalles before departing by private transfer to Bend where we'll check into our next fantastic hotel After enjoying a wonderful early dinner, we will travel to sensational Smith Rock, the first of the Seven Wonders of Oregon that we photograph on this tour.  Smith Rock is a gigantic basalt rock formation that's caressed by the Crooked River that slowly rolls by its base.  We will photograph Smith Rock all afternoon and capture the sunset, then travel back to our hotel in Bend.

Day 3 -  Silver Falls State Park
After breakfast and editing images, we travel by private transfer to Silverton for lunch before continuing to Silver Falls State Park.  People call Silver Falls the “crown jewel” of the Oregon State Parks system, and once you visit, you'll know why.  Silver Falls State Park is a scenic treasure and we will photograph seven of the ten gorgeous waterfalls there, as well as old growth forests, bridges, and streams.  After shooting all afternoon, we will travel to our next amazing hotel in Salem and enjoy another fantastic dinner.

Day 4 - Abiqua Falls / Butte Creek Falls

After an early breakfast we travel by private transfer to the jaw-dropping Abiqua Falls.  This 92-foot waterfall is perfectly framed by an enormous basalt amphitheater adorned with lichens, mosses and various ferns, but what makes the hike to this cascade so special is that it is so difficult to find, making the destination that much more rewarding.  After shooting all morning, we will travel to Silverton for lunch, then head to the sensational Butte Creek Falls.  A short, one-mile stroll through an impressive second-growth forest leads you to the 78-foot Butte Creek Falls and 26-foot Upper Butte Creek Falls.  At Upper Butte Creek Falls you can scramble deep into the cavern behind the falls and venture high above the creek on a basalt outcropping that offers spectacular views of Butte Creek Falls.  After shooting all afternoon, we will return to our hotel and enjoy another great dinner.

Day 5 - Columbia River Gorge / Multnomah Falls / Starvation Creek / Trillium Lake
After an early breakfast, we head north to the Columbia River Gorge - the second of the Seven Wonders of Oregon we explore - and photograph the most famous waterfall in Oregon, Multnomah Falls.  This 620' tall, two-tiered beauty is the most visited natural attraction in Oregon and is simply breathtaking.  Afterwards, we'll have lunch and photograph the colorful and not very well-known, Starvation Creek.  After shooting, we'll head to our spectacular hotel overlooking the magnificent Columbia River Gorge in Hood River, have a great dinner, then drive to Lake Trillium and capture a sensational sunset with the spectacular Mt. Hood reflecting in the glossy lake.  Mt. Hood is the third of the Seven Wonders of Oregon that we photograph, and this magnificent landscape is sure to leave a lasting impression.
