ITINERARY  

Day 1 - Arrive in Costa Rica  
A representative from ColorTexturePhotoTours will meet you at San Juan Santamaría International Airport and transfer you to our beautiful hotel in Alajuela.  At the hotel, our tour leader will greet you and get you settled comfortably into your room.  Once all tour participants have arrived at the hotel, we will have a delicious welcome dinner. 

Day 2 - Poas Volcano National Park  
After a leisurely breakfast, we will travel by private transfer to Poas Volcano National Park to photograph a series of fantastic waterfalls and a variety of butterflies, birds, and other wildlife at La Paz Waterfall Gardens (Cataratas La Paz).  We will have lunch at a restaurant on location and shoot throughout the afternoon.  After shooting, we will travel back to the hotel in Alajuela for another savory dinner. 

Day 3 - Juan Castro Blanco National Park  
After a casual breakfast, we will travel by private transfer to Juan Castro Blanco National Park to photograph Bajos del Toro (Catarata del Toro / Catarata Bajos del Toro), one of the tallest waterfalls in Costa Rica that plunges 300+ feet into an ancient volcano crater.  Upon arrival, we will have lunch at the on-site restaurant then shoot all afternoon.  Besides the awe-inspiring rainforest waterfall, there are many walking trails and beautiful gardens packed full of incredible orchids, hummingbirds, and butterflies, as well as monkeys on the trail leading to the bottom of the falls.  After shooting, we will travel to Arenal and check into our next amazing hotel and have another great dinner. 

Day 4 - Arenal / La Fortuna  
After an early breakfast, we will depart by private transfer to one of two pristine La Fortuna waterfalls, Catarata La Fortuna, one of the most famous waterfalls in Costa Rica.  After shooting away the morning and having lunch at the excellent on-site restaurant, we will travel to our second location and shoot Danta Waterfall, an wedge-shaped waterfall nestled in the jungle.  Afterwards, we will return to our hotel and have time to edit images before enjoying another delicious dinner.  

Day 5 - Arenal / La Fortuna 
After breakfast, enjoy a free day exploring Arenal La Fortuna.  Visit Arenal Volcano or Lake Arenal, take a hanging bridges or eco tour, go zip lining or rafting, enjoy the hot springs or a massage courtesy of ColorTexturePhotoTours, or relax at the hotel and edit images.  After your free day we will travel to Tenorio Volcano National Park and our next outstanding hotel where we will have another incredible dinner.  

Day 6 - Tenorio Volcano National Park  
After an early breakfast, we will photograph the magnificent turquoise waters of the Rio Celeste Waterfall (Catarata Rio Celeste), which by many standards is Costa Rica's most iconic waterfall.  We will spend the morning shooting, then have a typical Costa Rican lunch on location, and travel back to our luxurious hotel.  Once at the hotel, you will have the remainder of the day to enjoy a well-earned, revitalizing massage or spa treatment courtesy of ColorTexturePhotoTours, or edit images before a scrumptious dinner.  

Day 7 - Rincon de la Vieja National Park  
After breakfast, we will travel by private transfer to Rincon de la Vieja National Park, have lunch, then photograph Las Chorreras, a unique waterfall with two cascades dropping into a beautiful blue pool below.  After shooting away the afternoon, we will check into our rustic Costa Rican hacienda before another fantastic dinner.  

Day 8 - Liberia  
After an early breakfast, we will travel by private transfer to Liberia and photograph Llanos de Cortez (Catarata Llanos de Cortez), one of the premier waterfalls in Costa Rica. After shooting, we will stop for lunch, then travel along the Pacific coast to the world-famous Tarcoles Bridge to photograph crocodiles.  Afterwards, we will continue to our next incredible hotel in Manuel Antonio and have a wonderful dinner.  

Day 9 - Manuel Antonio National Park  
After breakfast, enjoy a free day exploring the amazing Manuel Antonio National Park, relaxing at the beach, shopping in Quepos, or editing images.  After your free day we will enjoy another exceptional dinner at our hotel.  

Day 10 - Dominical  
Rise and shine!  We leave early and take breakfast with us as we travel by private transfer to Nauyaca Waterfalls (Cataratas Nauyaca), another one of the elite Costa Rican waterfalls.  Once there, we will spend the entire morning shooting this marvelous location, then have a great Costa Rican casado lunch at the home of Don Lulo, the former horseback-tour operator at Nauyaca Falls.  After lunch, we will return to the hotel and have time to relax and edit images before another great dinner.  

Day 11 - Grecia / Tacares  
After an early breakfast, we will depart by private transfer to Grecia where we will have lunch, then continue on to Los Chorros (Cataratas Los Chorros) to shoot two large, and several mini-waterfalls.  After shooting, we will travel to our hotel in Alajuela, get cleaned up, and have our farewell dinner party. 

Day 12 - Depart Costa Rica  
After breakfast, transfer to San Juan Santamaría International Airport and catch your flight home, on which you will reflect on all the incredible new memories of Costa Rica.

Photo Tour Cost - $6,295.00 Per Person (Based On Double Occupancy)  
Photo tour cost includes all hotels in Costa Rica (11 nights), all meals in Costa Rica (32 total), transportation to and from San Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO), private transportation within Costa Rica, all park entrance fees, all tour guides, and horseback riding to one remote location.  Photo tour cost does NOT include: airfare to and from Costa Rica, airport departure tax (currently $29.00 and may be included in the price of your plane ticket), travel insurance, tips to bellhops, cleaning staff, drivers, and tour guides, and personal expenses like alcoholic beverages, free day activities, laundry service, phone calls, and souvenirs.  

Single Supplement - Add $1,500.00  
The single supplement applies only to tour participants that prefer their own hotel rooms rather than sharing rooms with another guest.

$5,295.00 Balance Due on November 1, 2017

Cancellations & Refunds  
Deposits are non-refundable.  For refunds, we require that a cancellation request in writing be received by November 10, 2017.  If we receive your written cancellation request before November 10, 2017, and can refill your space, we will refund all payments, minus your deposit and any discounts given to refill your space.  If we cannot refill your space, we will refund 50% of all payments, minus your deposit.  No refunds are given, nor cancellations allowed, after November 10, 2017.  No partial refunds are given for unused services.  There is a $50.00 fee charged for all returned checks.  

Physical Requirements
Participation requires that travelers be able to walk unassisted for two miles over uneven, potentially muddy and slippery trails, and up-and-down inclines and steps with moderate altitude gain.  There are hikes over a variety of terrain including pavement, gravel, and dirt trails with large roots, rocks and stairs.  Travelers should be aware that the heat and humidity will be very high in some locations and daily excursions can be more difficult during inclement weather.
