Day 1 - Arrive in Portland / Columbia River Gorge / Starvation Creek / White River Falls / Hood River
We set out by private transfer from Portland, Oregon and to the world-famous Columbia River Gorge - the first of the Seven Wonders of Oregon we explore - and photograph the colorful and little known, Starvation Creek. Afterwards, we'll head to our fantastic hotel overlooking the magnificent Columbia River Gorge in Hood River, check in, and have a great dinner before heading to the spectacular White River Falls. White River Falls is an outstanding double-tiered waterfall that drops into a rugged basalt gorge near an abandoned hydroelectric power station that once energized and irrigated the region. We'll shoot the falls and capture the incredible sunset, then return to our hotel.
Note: We pick up guests and travel to the Columbia River Gorge the day of arrival, so please schedule flight arrivals between 1P-2P.
Day 2 - Panther Creek Falls / Trillium Lake
After breakfast and editing images, we travel by private transfer to the otherworldly fantasyland of Panther Creek Falls. Words cannot describe just how amazing this jaw-dropping location is and we explore it thoroughly. After shooting, we will have lunch and edit images throughout the afternoon before having another delicious dinner. After dinner, we travel to iconic Trillium Lake to photograph Mt. Hood from the south, reflecting in the glossy water. This landscape is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression and we'll return to the hotel after shooting through sunset.
Day 3 - Multnomah Falls / Latourell Falls / Lost Lake
After an early breakfast, we will travel by private transfer to photograph the most famous waterfall in Oregon, Multnomah Falls. This 620' tall, two-tiered beauty is the most visited natural attraction in Oregon and is simply breathtaking. After Multnomah Falls, we'll travel down the Historic Columbia Highway to Latourell Falls, a 224' tall single-plunge ribbon that's highlighted by fluorescent lichen on the basalt wall surrounding the falls. We'll also hike to and photograph Upper Latourell Falls, which is equally impressive. Afterwards, we'll have another great dinner before driving to Lost Lake to capture spectacular Mt. Hood and its reflection in the water. After shooting through the sunset, we'll return to our hotel.
Day 4 - Silver Falls State Park / Salem
After breakfast and editing images, we set out by private transfer to Salem where we'll check into our incredible hotel and have lunch. Afterwards we will head to Silver Falls State Park. People call Silver Falls the “crown jewel” of the Oregon State Parks system, and once you visit, you'll know why. Silver Falls State Park is a scenic treasure and we will photograph two gorgeous waterfalls there, as well as old growth forests, bridges, and streams. After shooting all afternoon, we will return to our hotel and enjoy a great dinner.
Day 5 - Silver Falls State Park / Salem
After breakfast and editing images we travel by private transfer to Silverton for lunch before returning to Silver Falls State Park to photograph majestic Upper North Falls and towering North Falls. After shooting, we will return to our hotel in Salem and have our final delicious dinner.
Day 6 - Depart Portland
After breakfast, we'll travel by private transfer to Portland International Airport, where you'll catch your flight home.
Note: Please schedule your flight departure no earlier than 2P.

While most locations have easy hikes, there is one location that requires walking unassisted for 3 miles (round trip) over uneven, potentially muddy and slippery trails, and up-and-down inclines with moderate altitude gain. There are hikes over a variety of terrain including pavement, gravel, and dirt trails with large roots, rocks, logs, and stairs. Travelers should be aware that heat and humidity could be high in some locations and daily excursions can be more difficult during inclement weather.
