ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrive in Portland / Ecola State Park / Hug Point / Cannon Beach / Seaside
After arriving in Portland, we will travel by private transfer to the spectacular Oregon Coast, one of the legendary Seven Wonders of Oregon and one of the most breathtaking coastlines in the world.  Upon arriving in Seaside, we will check into our first beautiful hotel and enjoy lunch before beginning our coastal photography adventure.  Later in the afternoon, we will travel to Ecola State Park where dramatic cliffs and sweeping coastal vistas overlook the Pacific Ocean far below.  From there, we continue to beautiful Hug Point and photograph the rugged shoreline, crashing waves, waterfalls, sea stacks, and incredible coastal scenery that make this region so iconic.  We will end the day at world-famous Cannon Beach where towering Haystack Rock rises from the shoreline beneath colorful sunset skies.  Surrounded by sea stacks, ocean reflections, and the powerful atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest coast, this unforgettable evening offers an incredible introduction to the beauty of Oregon’s coastline.  After photographing sunset, we will enjoy a fantastic late dinner before returning to our hotel.

Day 2 - Neskowin / Proposal Rock / Lincoln City
After a relaxed breakfast and editing sessions, we will travel south along the Oregon Coast toward the peaceful coastal community of Neskowin.  Surrounded by rugged shoreline scenery and dramatic ocean views, this beautiful stretch of coastline offers incredible opportunities for intimate seascapes, reflections, textures, and long exposure photography.  After lunch, we will spend the afternoon exploring the beach, photographing the coastline, and scouting compositions for sunset at iconic Proposal Rock.  Rising dramatically from the Pacific Ocean just offshore, Proposal Rock creates a spectacular focal point as evening light reflects across the beach and colorful skies illuminate the coastline.  After photographing sunset, we will continue to our next beautiful hotel in Lincoln City.

Day 3 - Thor's Well / Heceta Head Lighthouse / Florence
After breakfast and editing sessions, we will continue south along the breathtaking Pacific coastline toward one of Oregon’s most famous photography locations - historic Heceta Head Lighthouse.  Perched high above the ocean on dramatic coastal cliffs, the lighthouse offers spectacular views and endless opportunities for coastal landscape photography.  Later in the day, we will travel to world-famous Thor’s Well, one of the most dramatic and unique coastal formations in the Pacific Northwest.  As powerful ocean waves surge through the volcanic rock formations beneath colorful sunset skies, Thor’s Well creates an unforgettable photography experience unlike anywhere else on the Oregon Coast.  After photographing through sunset, we will travel to Florence, check into our next hotel, and enjoy another exceptional dinner together

Day 4 - Sweet Creek Falls / Florence
After breakfast, editing sessions, and image reviews, we will travel to the lush forests surrounding Sweet Creek Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfall locations on the Oregon Coast.  Along the way, we will stop to photograph a rustic railroad bridge spanning the scenic Siuslaw River before continuing deeper into the forest.  Sweet Creek Falls features a stunning series of waterfalls and cascades surrounded by moss-covered rocks, lush greenery, flowing streams, and beautiful old-growth forest scenery.  We will spend the afternoon exploring and photographing the waterfalls, intimate forest details, and peaceful atmosphere that make this location such a hidden gem along the Oregon Coast.  After another wonderful day of photography, we will return to our hotel and enjoy our final dinner together.

Day 5 - Depart Portland
After breakfast, we will travel by private transfer back to Portland International Airport (PDX), where you will catch your flight home after an unforgettable journey along the rugged coastline, beaches, waterfalls, lighthouses, and spectacular landscapes of the Oregon Coast.
