Olympic National Park Photo Tour

Ruby Beach, Washington

Olympic National Park is a dream location for landscape photographers. Packed full of variety, there’s always something beautiful, unique, and interesting to photograph. On this fantastic photography tour we explore and photograph jagged, snowcapped mountains, mossy old-growth rainforests, five spectacular waterfalls, jaw-dropping beaches, incredible sea stacks, crystal clear lakes, sensational sunsets, and colorful wildflowers.

With only 6 spots available, you will improve your photo skills with personalized, professional photography instruction, and enhance your digital workflow and editing skills with one-on-one post processing instruction. You will use various exposure techniques and filters and learn ways to improve your compositions. You will also do some focus stacking, Intentional Camera Movement (ICM), HDR processing, and image reviews, as well. Aside from the technical stuff, you will rest well in award-winning hotels, enjoy delicious gourmet cuisine, travel comfortably in private transportation, and have a ton of fun!

Photographers of all skill levels are welcome. The only requirement is a basic understanding of your DSLR, SLR, or mirrorless camera.

Physical Requirements
Participation requires that travelers be able to walk unassisted for two miles over uneven, potentially muddy and slippery trails, and up-and-down inclines with moderate altitude gain. There are hikes over a variety of terrain including pavement, gravel, and dirt trails with large roots, rocks, and stairs and daily excursions can be more difficult during inclement weather.

"I toured Olympic National Park with Scott and it was an incredible experience. We hit all the major attractions, as well as some unknown gems, and the food and accommodations were simply wonderful.
We explored the Hoh and lesser-known Quinault rainforests and their gorgeous mossy trees and ferns. We captured sea stacks and sunsets along the Pacific Coast, at crystal clear Lake Crescent, and near the snowcapped Olympic Mountains. We hiked to Sol Duc and Marymere Falls, both of which are fantastic waterfalls in spectacular old-growth forests. And we photographed rushing rivers, gently cascading streams, a bit of wildlife, and colorful wildflowers, too. The best part is that the tour was all-inclusive so I didn’t have to rent a car, drive everywhere, fill up for gas, or find hotels and restaurants on my own. Scott planned everything perfectly, and when I priced out the all-inclusive cost vs. booking everything myself, I saved $300 and didn’t have to do a thing! Huge thanks Scott for an amazing tour!"  ~ Shelli J. | Oregon
