Oregon Fall Colors Photo Tour - October 2022
Join us October 9-14, 2022 on this exceptional, 6-day, 5-night, all-inclusive photo tour and photograph peak fall colors at two of the Seven Wonders of Oregon - the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood, as well as fifteen of the best waterfalls in Oregon, gorgeous lakes, beautiful rivers, cascading streams, and pristine flora and fauna. Photographers of all skill levels are welcome and the only requirement is a basic understanding of using a DSLR or mirrorless camera.

ITINERARY
Day 1 - Arrive in Portland / Columbia River Gorge / Starvation Creek / White River Falls / Hood River
We set out by private transfer from Portland, Oregon and to the world-famous Columbia River Gorge - the first of the Seven Wonders of Oregon we explore - and photograph the colorful and little known, Starvation Creek. Afterwards, we'll head to our fantastic hotel, check in, and have a great dinner before heading to spectacular White River Falls. White River Falls is an outstanding double-tiered waterfall that drops into a rugged basalt gorge near an abandoned hydroelectric power station that once energized and irrigated the region. We'll shoot the falls and capture the incredible sunset, then return to our hotel.
Note: We pick up guests and travel to the Columbia River Gorge the day of arrival, so please schedule flight arrivals between 1P-2P.
Day 2 - Multnomah Falls / Horsetail Falls / Ponytail Falls / Fairy Falls / Lost Lake / Hood River
After breakfast we will travel by private transfer to photograph the most famous waterfall in Oregon, Multnomah Falls. This 620' tall, two-tiered beauty is the most visited natural attraction in Oregon and is simply breathtaking. Afterwards we will travel down the Scenic Columbia River Highway to Horsetail & Ponytail Falls and spend some time photographing both falls. We will break for lunch and then travel to photograph beautiful Fairy Falls and the fantastic stream flowing below it. After shooting, we will have a delicious dinner, then travel to Lost Lake and capture the sunset with spectacular Mt. Hood reflecting in the glossy lake. Mt. Hood is the second of the Seven Wonders of Oregon that we photograph and this magnificent landscape will leave a lasting impression. After shooting, we'll return to our hotel in Hood River.
Day 3 - McDowell Creek / Salem
After breakfast and editing images, we set out by private transfer to McDowell Creek to photograph Royal Terrace Falls and Majestic Falls. After shooting all afternoon, we will check into our incredible hotel in Salem and enjoy a fantastic dinner.
After breakfast we set out by private transfer to Silver Falls State Park. People call Silver Falls State Park the “crown jewel” of the Oregon State Parks system, and once you visit, you'll know why. Silver Falls State Park is a scenic treasure and we will photograph several gorgeous waterfalls there, as well as old growth forests, bridges, and streams. After shooting we will return to our hotel and enjoy another delicious dinner.
Day 5 - Sweet Creek Falls / Eugene
After breakfast and editing images, we travel by private transfer to Sweet Creek Falls where we'll spend the afternoon photographing a series of beautiful waterfalls. After shooting, we'll travel to our amazing hotel in Eugene and have another wonderful dinner.
Day 6 - Depart Portland
After breakfast, we'll travel by private transfer to Portland International Airport, where you'll catch your flight home.

Single Supplement - Add $1,000.00
The single supplement applies to tour participants that are traveling alone and prefer their own hotel rooms rather than sharing rooms with another guest or when sharing rooms is not available.
What's Included In Photo Tour Price?
Photo tour price includes all hotels, all meals, private transportation, and all park entrance fees. Photo tour cost does NOT include: airfare to and from Portland, Oregon (airport code PDX), travel insurance, tips to bartenders, bellhops, cleaning staff, drivers, and guides, and personal expenses like alcoholic beverages, laundry service, and souvenirs.

Cancellations & Refunds
Deposits are non-refundable. For refunds, we require that a cancellation request in writing be received before 11:59pm Pacific Time on the Registration & Final Payment date. If we receive your written cancellation request before the Registration & Final Payment deadline and can refill your space, we will refund all payments, minus any discounts given to refill your space. If we cannot refill your space, we will refund 50% of all payments. No refunds are given, nor cancellations allowed after the Registration & Final Payment Deadline date. While most locations have easy hikes, there are two locations that requires walking unassisted for 3 miles (round trip) over uneven, potentially muddy and slippery trails, and up-and-down inclines with moderate altitude gain. There are hikes over a variety of terrain including pavement, gravel, and dirt trails with large roots, rocks, logs, and stairs. Travelers should be aware that heat and humidity could be high in some locations and daily excursions can be more difficult during inclement weather.
