Costa Rica's Wonderful Wildlife

Always searching for new ways to provide great content, I realized that I haven't yet created a blog post specifically discussing the exotic wildlife that we photograph on our all-inclusive Costa Rica photo tours. Costa Rica is an incredibly diverse country with hundreds of species of wildlife and no photography tour would be complete without opportunities to photograph some of the gorgeous creatures that thrive throughout the tropical paradise.

A few weeks ago I wrote the blog post, Amazing Amenities, discussing the award-winning hotels on our exceptional Costa Rica photo tours. In that post, I promised to follow up with a post about the fantastic restaurants on our tours, and this post fulfills that promise. I've dined at dozens of restaurants across Costa Rica and, as with the hotels on our tours, only choose those that meet a high standard and demanding list of requirements.

Discovering The Twins: Las Gemelas

Tucked away in a misty cloud forest in Costa Rica’s Central Valley, Bajos del Toro is a small, isolated community surrounded by verdant farmland, rolling hills, and dozens of spectacular waterfalls. Most people venture to Bajos del Toro for the towering 300’ waterfall of the same name, but what they often fail to discover is the incredible dual waterfalls called Las Gemelas, which means “The Twins."
