Olympic National Park Photo Tours

Those receiving our newsletters know that last year I wrote about scouting Olympic National Park and discussed an exciting new photography tour I was planning in the amazing park.  Using some downtime during the winter months, I finalized a fantastic photo tour, and am happy to announce the Olympic National Park photo tour that is offered twice in August 2021, fulfilling my promise to readers.

The first thing to know is that the beautiful park is gigantic and incredibly diverse.  There are snowcapped mountains, stunning driftwood-covered beaches, incredible sea stacks, lush mossy rainforests, fantastic lakes, vivid wildflowers, lots of wildlife, and gorgeous waterfalls, rivers, and streams.  All that equals fantastic landscape photography opportunities and we will take advantage of it all on these brand new Olympic National Park photo tours.

Second, like all our tours, I have secured award-winning accommodations so our clients can relax in amazing hotels with fantastic amenities.  The third thing is that I worked hard to find wonderful restaurants that serve the freshest and most delicious cuisine.  The final thing to keep in mind is that there are only 4 spots available per tour so clients receive plenty of one-on-one assistance to create better nature photography images.

Ruby Beach Stones, Olympic National Park, Washington State
With all that stated, this Washington State photo tour provides something for everyone and locations we explore are: Madison Falls, Crescent Lake, Marymere Falls, the Hoh Rainforest, Sol Duc Falls, Ruby Beach, Merriman Falls, Bunch Creek Falls, and Quinault Lake.  All these locations are stunningly beautiful and highlight the vast assortment of spectacular scenery the park offers.

2022 Costa Rica Photo Tour Schedule

by Scott Setterberg August 10, 2021

The last few weeks have been extremely busy.  I've done two long photo tours in Washington and Oregon and have also been creating new Costa Rica photo tours for 2022.  Both photo tours were amazing - exploring new locations, creating spectacular images, and making new, life-long friends. I truly have the best job in the world!  With that, let's move on to Costa Rica.  I've previously told subscribers why I do tours in Costa Rica when I do, and it's important to restate that information.

Cannon Beach At The Oregon Coast
Cannon Beach At The Oregon Coast

I just returned from the first Oregon photography tour of the year and added a day at Cannon Beach at the request of a client.  Since the results of that day were pretty spectacular, I thought I'd write a little about the area, and share some images, too.  For several days before we arrived, the weather forecast called for rain at Cannon Beach.  Despite that, we carried on and took a chance, and as you can see from the photos in this post, we were rewarded for making the effort.

Eastern Washington Day Tours
Eastern Washington Day Tours

by Scott Setterberg March 08, 2021

With spring kicking off early in Eastern Washington, I've decided to turn my favorite locations in the region into single-day photography tours.  These locations are unique to this area and you won't find anything like them anywhere else in the world.  These day tours are great opportunities to improve your landscape photography skills with fantastic local scenery and the prices are affordable for everyone.  I'm also keeping these tours small - only three spots available per day - so you get plenty of one-on-one attention.
