After an extremely busy and successful Costa Rica photo tour season, I recently returned to the United States and scouted several incredible locations for the July 14-19, 2019, Awe-Inspiring Oregon Photo Tour. One of those locations is Abiqua Falls, and I want to share some new images with you and provide more information about this absolutely jaw-dropping destination.
Abiqua Falls is hidden on private property, somewhat near the small town of Scotts Mills, Oregon, and the unique, 92-foot cascade plunges over a towering basalt amphitheater adorned with colorful lichens, mosses, and ferns. Along with staggering beauty, what makes this outstanding location so rewarding is that it's incredibly difficult to find, and there are many online testimonials from frustrated hikers who searched unsuccessfully for the gorgeous waterfall.
Although the hike to the falls is rated as difficult, it's actually pretty easy and only takes about twenty-five minutes. Well, that's if you know how to drive to the trailhead. Otherwise, it's a long, exhausting, 5.3-mile roundtrip hike, hence the difficult rating. Fortunately for you, I know how to drive to the trailhead, and that's one of the many reasons why you go on a photo tour... extraordinary and difficult to find locations that are out of reach for most become assessable to you.
I'm super excited to share the gorgeous Abiqua Falls with you and I promise that every location on this tour is just as stunning. Furthermore, I will share with you everything I've learned in my 27 years of photography experience and provide you with safe, reliable, private transportation, excellent hotels, great food, and free spa services. If you're already a pro and/or don't need photo assistance, you still get access to magnificent locations, and receive top shelf service with incredible amenities.
